Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 100% Walkthrough Part 20 - Dark Suit

Here's a walkthrough of me going through Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for Gamecube on Hard Mode. I am getting a 100% completion in both pickups and in logbook completion. Also, I'm using the normal route, no sequence breaking.

Here's Part 20 of my Walkthrough. I finish off Amorbis and obtain the Dark Suit. I then take the energy of this area and return it to the Agon Energy Controller. Now time to go back to U-Mos.

Don't you have to scan all three of them? You only scanned two.

Nope. You only need to scan one during each phase. Any of them during the burrowing phase is good enough, and any of them during the latching onto the sphere phase is good enough.

You ge the dark suit now, but you don't get the light suit until you're like 90% done with the game. It's such a dick move on Nintendo's part.

It LESSENS the damage. The Light Suit says 'fuck you, Dark Aether!' and makes you Dark Aether-proof. at least it's better then the Varia Suit's lack of protection, right?

Why is Samus still being damaged by the atmosphere? I thought that the dark suit prevented that like how the varia suit protects her from super heated areas.
