    Alas, my good friend, sadly those fights were never recorded, an awful pity to any real fan of boxing or Sugar ray Robinson and Jake LaMotta. What a joy it must have been for the spectators to see their bloody 6 fight trilogy, well at least we have this fight to give us an idea of what their other fights were like.

    I bought a LaMotta card the other day off of Ebay. In some part because it was made in 1951 -- the year my father was born. The fact that LoMotta is still going strong at 91 makes me think my old man has plenty of years left...

    yeah people were generally alot tougher back then as they wernt so pampered when growing up like kids today..with all the technology..spoilt shits..lamotta defines tough tho..fighting since he was 8 years old in streetfights...but i think roy jones would of finished lamotta probs due to steroids n like someone said advanced training..but IMO if roy jones jr was around living in those times i dont think he would of been a boxer
