  • This video uses stylized graphics and simple but flawed logic to deceive ignorant people.

  • Once again, dumb video.. Correlation does not mean causation. India and China both have massive populations, with massive portions of the population living in squalor. Greater population does not equal prosperity. The fact is we are running out of natural resources and more people is going to make it worse.

  • @alexbyehi "Please elaborate on how new resources are found all the time" - Whenever resource shortages begin, people look for alternatives to those resources. Crude oil was thought of as a waste until John D. Rockerfeller discovered it could be used as fuel, and then he brought it to the common man by selling it cheaply and making a lot of money in the process. New resources are discovered and existing resources become more efficently used. Humans dont ran out of resources, we outgrow them

  • @alexbyehi "If you live in a poor area, that requires...of which little is avaliable." - If that were the case, than no communities in the world would have ever risen out of poverty EVER. Many have, therefore we can infer that at some point many poor areas build infrastructure, gained the capital, and hired the workers to lift their communities out of poverty. Its happened millions of times, it will continue to happen as long as the same systems stay in place, private property and rule of law.

  • @alexbyehi "How do you boil enough water to distribute to millions of people?' - Theres your problem, distribution. An economic system where resources are distributed utterly FAIL. Individuals gaining water, or setting up indepedent systems of water (or any resource or good) distribution through compensation offer much more efficent service than top-down distribution of resources.

  • i've thought about it and came to the conclusion that the ppl who make these videos r idiots.

  • Dumb fucking video. I cannot believe the amount of ignorance in these stupid videos. We must move to a resource-based economy as promoted in the Zeitgeist films. Natural resources are finite, and must be sustainable in order to avoid catastrophe.

  • @GermanConquistador08 How do you boil enough water to distribute to millions of people? If you live in a poor area, that requires infrastructure, workers and funds, of which little is avaliable.

The reason people run to urban areas is because of the low economic mobility found in rural areas. How are you going to convince people to move to rural areas where there are already tons of people fleeing from unemployment?

Please elaborate on how new resources are found all the time.

  • Ummm, Hunter-Gatherers ate very well and populations were very low

  • What kind of insane nonsense is this? Who funds this garbage and why?

  • @amonaghan You miss the point, and don't seem to have listened to the last minute of the video. It is not a cause-effect relationship but a necessary-sufficient distinction. If we are going to help people out of poverty, it is not sufficient that we have a high population but it is necessary.
