@WARD5KUSTOMZ An Astro uses a 4.3L V6, which is a 90 degree enfine based on a 350/5.7L. The Chevy V8 is just longer than the V6, while the 2.8/3.0/4.0 V6es in Aerostars were 60 degree engines, so the 302/5.0 is both longe and wider than them.
@battousai9439..... Did you see under the hood of this van? It was easier to change the spark plugs with the V8 than it was as a V6. That's because I made it that way. After installing an automatic brake pedal I had to move it to the left about an inch and a half and make a new mount for the gas pedal. There is no way to put a V8 in an Aerostar without making it fit. This was a GREAT daily driver.
You could have went with the Taurus SHO's Yamaha 3.2L V6

@losercust lol no .. 5.0 ho (mustang motor) with a few minor mods will eat a shitty old minivan v6 ... its better on gas too
