I sniped myself in Halo CE... Twice.

You joined a modded server where the sniper bullets are replaced with tank shells. You can't see it, but in reality you just blew yourself up.

@As7raios That doesn't explain the second shot. Also the killfeed would have gone SUPER fast if that was the case. The only mod the server had was infinite ammo.

@DjRadioIbles Second shot was due to, according to the server, your teammate being in front of you. You didn't see him in your scope while you fired, but, he was moving that way. (As you should know, Halo has a netcode that requires you to lead, therefore, allow him to walk into it)

As for if there are nuke snipers, you're on the SmG M1 Modded Server which does have explosive snipers. :P

@As7raios If he's not in the scope, then it's not going to hit him even if you factor in leading, the hit was registered on the guy I was aiming at, and the lead was on him. My ping is low enough that your theory can't happen.

Besides that, bodies were not flying all over the place if they were really tank shots.

@DjRadioIbles You could either think your bullets are being ricocheted or that the server has a mod that enabled nuked snipers. With the fact I know the people running the server and the fact I know bullets only ricochet off plasma shields on Halo: Combat Evolved, I'd go with nuked snipers.

@DjRadioIbles The person was at the left hand of the scope at that time, also, due to the lag (Halo PC has this amount of lag to it even at low pings) you weren't seeing your team mate in the correct position. He was in fact in front of you.

Another thing, I do know that they are these types of snipers. As I've said before, the SmG M1 Modded Server has nuke snipers. Notice how each time you died your body reacted to an explosion death instead of a normal death. I've been playing for 8 years.
