Killing Floor - Gangsta Pistol Glitch

Strange animation glitch where my friends character was shooting zombies with a pistol and instead of the standard recoil animation it was doing the knife animation. I thought it looked like a really bad 'gangsta' style method of shooting, hence i named it the 'Gangsta Pistol Glitch'.
NOTE: I have no idea how this happened. No idea how to reproduce it. Has no advantage/disadvantage in game. Only i could see it, the guy shooting didnt know about it until i told him.

i know the guy this was happening to. He said he didnt see anything weird from his view, just the normal pistol animation. Only i could see it.
