Hey man, Ive done exactly the same as what you have done except ive hooked up my Turtlebeaches. But the problem is that with the HDMI and AV cable's both attached at the same time my console keeps reseting at start-up any idea's as to why? The AV cable and HDMI cable are both plugged in at the xbox like yours are?

Yo i have a Monitor that supports VGA DVI and HDMI i dont use my hdmi port cant i just put the hdmi cable from the xbox to my pc and it will work fine?? help please :S

@jezzejam i have no idea what you mean a laptop. Laptops only give video out not the ability to display video on the inbuilt screen from another device.

you could do that, or you could use a Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable.
Great resolution and can listen to the sound through speakers.

This method actually gives you FULL HD 1080p tho, thats why i put it up, and the speakers work absolutley fine - 5.1 THX at the moment
