Genz Benz Shuttle 12.0, Fender Precision Bass. This song has a synth bass line and is fun to play. Am rehearsing this to play live an have not played this song much. It's got great guitar, but is that a surprise, considering Gibbons? One of the best, most original guitarists I have ever heard.. anywhere. His influences ranges from Bill Sheehan to Alex Lifeson (I hear Alex's false harmonics and am reminded of Gibbons). Gibbons makes the difficult sound easy. Above all, his sound is just GOOD.. he gets an amazing sound, which is great, but then lays down some of the best guitar lines of all time. Like in this song. Anyone that thinks writing a song of this stature is "easy" is sorely mistaken, in my opinion (sorry to defend him, but I hear a lot about his "ultra simple" playing from the bar musician crowds).
