Gary Brown came out of Penn State and took the NFL by storm in 1993. He helped the Houston Oilers win 11 straight games and the division title. He was a classic Penn State back.

  • I loved that team! Cried my eyes out when they lost to the Chiefs

  • Who says you cant run w/o a tight end. The Oilers were the best team to never win the big one. Sean Jones told Jim Rome that was the best team he was ever on. Better than the Packers who he had won a SuperBowl. Luv ya Blue..

  • Brown's a textbook example of someone largely forgotten now, but in truth one of the best of his time. On the short list of best backs in Oiler history and did well here in NYC.

  • @warrenmoon46 i hope so Mr. Moon.

  • Dat dude was a hoss in 93!

  • Awesome, Foster starts a new Houston era of RB dominance

  • Ahhhh, Gary Brown! He was the key ingredient to the 1993 team! That loss to the Chiefs still hurts me to this day! I truly believe had this team came out and got past the divisional round after the week off they would have avenged Buffalo in the AFC Championship and definitely beat the Cowboys. Buddy’s defense was nasty & this offense could match with anyone in the league.

  • Gary Brown is a really nice guy. Seriously dude, couldn't be nicer. He's a great human being.

  • What happened to him? was he just out of shape? or just injury prone? because he was one and done after this.

  • hahaaaa GB was my running back coach in college. He threw the pads on and showed our D what the fuck was up one time haha he could move like a mother fucker even at 250. Great coach and a great man, wish him the best!

  • I was just thinking about Gary Brown's performance that season....it was really a good feeling to see him break out and make such an impact. What stuck out the most about him was his balance and elusiveness. He had short quick steps but he could move considering his stocky build.

  • @calebbl i loved it because the Chiefs are my team!
