They're not traitors. Im a lifelong red and only get to about 10-15 games a season now and no aways 'cos of the people infesting my club. These are the lads that made United's support so great and should be respected for upholding the true traditions of our great club. I for one hope FC go on and on. There's more important things than titles to real football fans you know... WELL DONE MARGY AND THE FC BOYS.

When Rio missed his drugs test a few years ago, the club fought for him. When he was suspended the club supported him. He came back to the club and instead of saying thanks, asked for a pay rise in a long and drawn out contract dispute which ended favorably for Rio.
That, and then you include all the various rumors suggesting Rio's not a saint off the pitch, and you begin to see where the animosity comes from. I personally don't agree with it, but dont begrudge those that do.

If anything, Rio seems to care even more about everything except football. He's indicative of everything that there is to dislike about a footballer.
