  • Troughs not trofs.

  • Struth.. I bet it sent shivers down your spine when that mighty engine thundered by. NIce clip.. wish I'd been there.

  • @Ben31337l

Thanks for the correction, I Just think they are the same, but there not!

  • @ClassA4Mallard Oh and by the way, the TGV is NOT a locomotive, it's a multiple unit.

  • @wiredforstereo

Sorry to get envolved in this but Back in the days of steam the days of steam, water trofs were fitted in the lines, that's how they did it none stop and reached the speeds they did.

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz

Back in the 1920s though, it was a A1

  • @Ben31337l

The TVG? Okay, thats not that crap speed wise!!!

  • @packr72

Yeah, I suppose your right. I wonder how fast it would go if it was tried?

  • @ClassA4Mallard its pretty simple actually, the up 844 has 80 inch drivers, the mallard has 80 inch drivers, the up844 has 8 driving wheels, the mallard has 6, the up844's boiler pressure 300psi, the mallard 250 psi, the up844 has a much larger firebox and has bigger cylinders, the up844 also uses lightweight reciporcating parts, bigger fire, more pressure, lighter driving gear, and more wheels means more power and speed
