BloomBoxTV would like to invite you to take part in a capstone project, conducted by four Nursing seniors: Susan Omoregie, Jennifer Torres, Renee Vales and Mishka Polidor. The theme of the project is Stress Management and this is what the Nursing Fab Four have to say about it:
" As nursing students, we learned that every person experiences stress in one form or another and it can lead to negative mental and physical effects. We would like to share this information with the Bloomfield College population.
The goals of our capstone are to provide awareness to resources and provide strategies to reduce stress amongst Bloomfield College students. In order to do so, we collaborated with a number of administrators both on and off campus. On campus, we are holding several information sessions in the Science Building, posting flyers around campus, using campus television advertising, and holding a number of workshops to provide further information as to ways of reducing stress to a functional level."

Proposed dates for the activities they planned are the ff:

- Thursday, February 25: Campus Information Session #1 in Science Buildings 1st floor Lobby (12:30pm-2:30pm)
- Thursday, March 4: Campus Information Session #2 in Science Buildings Basement Lobby (12:30pm-2:30pm)

- Friday, March 5: Bloomfield Colleges Annual Overnight Wellness Retreat (on behalf of Health Services) where the capstone group will be using a labyrinth as a means of relaxation/meditation to reduce stress

- Thursday, March 18: Exercise workshop (in collaboration with campus athletic trainers) @Shelby Art Room in Library

- Thursday, April 6: National Stress Out Day @Montclair State University

Please make sure you come and support them in carrying out their mission! You might learn a thing or two about managing your own stress, and that could only be a good thing!
