Giant Eagle!!!

While doing a road trip to Ayers Rocks we came across this huge Eagle eating a dead Kangaroo. This was just after the emergency airstrip on the Stuart Hwy in South Australia

Great footage of Australia`s most awesome bird..! I`ve never been to the outback but i did see 6 Wedge-Tailed Eagles sitting in a paddock on a misty early morning in the Grampians Victoria several years back, never forget the experience.. Something mystical about these birds~ nature is truly incredible(-:

Yeah we passed it then did a u turn, but that smell of the dead kangaroo was insane!

wedge tail eagle from tip wing to the other tip 3 meters wingspan

claws the 3 times the size of a full grown man's hand

beak sharper than razor blades legs strong enough to rip a dog off its feet into the air

eyes that can see a kangaroo from at least 3 kilometres away sadly many get killed from cars over 100 a year they take atleast 6 seconds to take off unlike pigeons or any other birds p.s do not stand 5 metres or closer or it will fly at you and rip you're brains out spreading blood

and to think that was below average size aswell because that one can't have been 4ft tall, unless the dead kangaroo was a like 3ft heap
