  • also the could not have got 400 points because the had to release the car not just bump it and have it removed so therefore the didn't get 400 points sorry guys but that was a very good robot i must say

  • @MrWhiteBlur Just to clarify, the official rules state that: Required Condition: The truck needs to no longer touch the ramp’s red stopper beam. Your entire vehicle needs to be completely out of Base when it produces the required condition, otherwise the referee removes two upright warning beacons (in the same manner as two touch penalties).

As long as the truck does not touch the red stopper beam, it counts. Also, Once the truck is pushed back, it may be removed by the ref as a stray object.

  • @egolegoque We used three different attachments and switched between them while in base. In other words, the arm was not modified, it was just replaced by a different attachment.

  • Ididn't know that the robot's arm can by modified.

  • @MrWhiteBlur 2009-2010 season; this particular competition was in 2010 (May)

  • @MrWhiteBlur Actually the rule stated that the truck counts as long as it isn't touching the red hook. We had to go over this with the judges both in Taiwan and at states but the judges counted it.

  • This wasnt 2010 this was 09

  • @swimkid626 Good luck on your robot! We also recently qualified for states. We had Samantha lose a whole round for us (so we had 6 QP instead of 8, and lost roughly 5 ranking positions)
