I am a student, I am not rich, I get no grants or any other additional support, and I can tell you the rise in tuition fees makes virtually no difference whatsoever.

Unless you have wealthy parents or get a very very well paid job when you graduate then you will pay exactly the same (or even less) than before. Most people never paid back the £3000 a year, so they could set the fees at £9million for all the difference it would make.
