  • I hate the way dressage riders yank their horses heads to be bent. If a horse doesn't do that for 1 minute in nature why make them do it for a a 10 minute competition?

  • OK. There is a difference between people abusing horses, injuring them and belting them, and doing a bit of dressage and jumping.

  • I like it, Why should you use a bit when you can ride without a bit?

Are you afraid to loose controle?

Why should you make your horse do what you want even when your horse doesn't want it?

Learn to trust your horse and treat him with respect.

    You will see the difference.

    Try freedomsdressage.

It's about learning to know your horse, play with him.

    It's still an animal.

It comes from the wild and has natural instincts.

It's already a wonder that we can ride on a horse his back!

  • So nice for someone to stand up to horse abuse. Amazing editing!

  • @walla236

competitions and jumping is awesome and fine but not every country does that, most like america and unitedstates kill allot and alllot of people like horses and care for them too. in places such as india, many horses have deseases and vommit everyday and still get used as slavery, the hotels in india are better than mos tof the eoples houses. don't you think somethings wrong in the world?

if people who made the 6/5 star hotels would use the money to make farms for animals

  • @DerryGirl1983

yes there is a diference but they force them to fight and abuse hurt and slaughter and kill for no reason. VERYONE HERE THAT LIKES HORSE MEAT SHOULD DIE, horses are different from cows, even cows get killed too much and other animals. humans are terrifying, i wish i wasn't one if humans could share and be vegetarians the world would be a better place

  • @DerryGirl1983

do you not get the point? there is a diference but people keep hurting them and abusing, you thik they horses like being used to race than run freely themselves? you think that in america there are so many horses that get slaughtered for meat and 200 get killed in each slaughtere house, THERE ARE OVER 20 IN AMERICA MANY PEOPLE ABANDONE THEIR HORSES AND THEY DIE BY HUNGER OR GET BROUGHT TO A SLAUGHTER HOUSE IF FOUND, WHAT IN THE WORLD

  • beautiful video but I cried through throught the first part, so true what happens to our friends, be careful who you sell or give your horse to, standing in line at the killer is so so heartbreaking, they deserve so much better.

  • Natural horsemanship?? Horses werent designed by nature to be ridden, or trained so whats natural about it. All good horsemen treat their horses with respect, kindness & have a good relationship with them, so why do people condem using a saddle & bridle based on the minority who abuse horses? Many could say whats natural about training a horse with a whip as they do in natural horsemanship if its all about body language. Good horsemanship isnt about the equipment, its about how you use it..

  • @StreetCorner100 Good dressage riders as a whole dont yank their horses heads to be bent, the outline (bent head) comes from the riders legs. Good riders ride from their leg & do very little with their hands, & a well trained horse that has a good relationship with their rider willingly cooperates & works in a relaxed way, whether that be with a bridle on or not..

  • when i hear of horse racing and rodeos, my mind goes to wishing the horses would get a chance to ride their owner to death I: its so mean, why cant they just let the horses live their lives?

  • One thing about bridles and reins though- think about if you were being controlled by a different species and couldn't speak their language, wouldn't it be easier to know what they wanted you to do/where they wanted you to go with reins and a bit? I consider it a mode of communication between horse and rider (although of course there are other ways to communicate the same things). And of course this can be misused.
