Yea criminal minds fan myself and this opening was really one of those that got you caught.

3.) It wasn't smart to crawl in this case too, ofcourse.. the closer to the ground, the better you can breath, but in a house where you need to walk 10 steps to get to the front door by walking there & holding your breath for 8 seconds it's just stupid to start crawling for 3 minutes.
4.) If you say this is all obvious afterwards you still need to learn a lot.. ofcourse u wont be able to think clear during a fire but there's a difference between clear thinking and common sense.

The scene is nice, but didn't really make sense tbh :>
1.) If you wake up in your bedroom (in a 1 floor house) and you see that the living room is on fire, it's most obvious you get out trough the window in the bedroom?
2.) And even if opening the window would cause a backdraft.. it would be smaller than the backdraft you would get by opening the door in the living room that was on fire.
