@STR4P4Zi3 Frankly, they are about equal. The i7s are better but the i5 is about the same.
However, know that AMD's AM3 socket motherboard (the ones for the phenom ii x4 processors) are going to support their new processor line coming out later this year. 6 cores, and will still be cheaper than intel.

AMD is out of my life now! My first rig is a i7-860 and my second rig is a i5-750, way better than best AMD cpu!

i now that intel core i7s are better.... but they are also ore expensive... :/
is the i5 lso better than the phenom 965?
