Magus Thothmoses Bubastis illustrates how a random number generator using noise from natural phenomena can be used to generate random numbers. The Magus will eventually employ this in consulting The Oracle of Thoth, an oracle hitherto unrevealed.

  • When will the second part of this series be available? I am keen to communicate with Thoth.

  • I have not received an ok yet. The revelation was made, but when I should make it public is still in the winds. There is a problem that concerns me. Many people will fail to take the necessary precautions when consulting the oracle and in the process open themselves to negative forces. That is the problem.

  • Well like I said I dont think its any deity hanging around my statue, and although I believe in the symbol and power in a symbol of Thoth- I dont believe religiously in the Egyptian pantheon. Honestly I feel more like your preaching instead of awnsering a question >_>; Anyway have a good day and thanks for replying.

  • Statues of deities are visual symbols of the deity, just like the deity's name. Usually deities dont hang around their symbols. The concept of deity is problematic. I think of deities as archetypes functioning through the mind and linking to a collective consciousness, or unconsciousness spanning time.

Directing proper attention to the deity's symbol opens the connection to the archetype.

  • Well thats definately one way to think of it, and I agree with you. So the question is, if the deity- or whatever you want to call it- isnt around my statue, what the hell is?

  • The statue is a symbol of the deity; just like the number 3 in Indo-Arabic numeration is a symbol that represent the idea of threeness. The symbol 3 is not threeness itself.

I could take it a bit further and tell you that you are not your body, but rather that your body is a representation of you. But more about that some other time.
