@thomiduvigneau I watched Kai, and only the beginning of Dragon Ball, so I guess I missed the Piccolo thing. But Gohan has been thrown in the middle of the wilderness, it's unlikely he found clean water. I guess he could have drank some water, but maybe he should've gotten really sick or something.

@CrazyHoboGroupPQV It's perfectly imaginable Gohan drank some water before, we just didn't get to see it. Piccolo can materialize clothing and weapons, this is repeated throughout the series. You got a point with the tail, I'm not really sure; what would happen if an actual monkey loses it's tail? Though tails get removed in both Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z without actual injury, so it is consistent.
