This is perhaps Fernando Sor's most famous study. It was one of the first pieces I learned on classical guitar.

  • thank you for the kind comments. As far as rest stroke vs. free stroke, I do use rest stroke for the more dramatic parts - for example, the circle of fifths progression at bar 25 and the ending progression at bar 41. thanks again,

    Kevin

  • This is the definition of the word sublime... I'm so glad to be taking lessons from you once more!

  • This is one of the best played Fernando Sor Study in B minor piece I have heard. Your tone is fantastic and your playing is legato and inspiring. Thank you for letting people hear classical music in a way that it should be.

  • what the hell do you do when you break a nail?

  • Great !!!

  • perfect.

  • Hi, what is your name ? and have you any CD's available ? Your playing is some of the best I have ever heard, very emotional, it floors me, incredible.

    Sonia.

  • Yes, I agree, best version I've ever heard. No rest strokes??? My teacher would kick me out of the studio. However, if I could play like you I guess he wouldn't care.

  • The greatest feel I've ever heard from anybody playing this famous student piece!!!

  • highly enjoyable interpretation, great feel

  • every note you play comes from your heart
