This video is my progress over the years... I was in a severe car accident back in 98 that left me paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors told me that is was, "Physically Impossible" to walk again... That day a part of me died; yet at the same time another part was born. What's the one thing you gain from losing everything? Perspective... At that point, it wasn't about if my glass was half empty or half full. No, I became grateful that I had a glass and knew it was up to me to fill that glass.

Now... I am... A... Wheelchair Bodybuilder!!!

  • youtub will even disable music on videos such as this, it's terrible

  • 6 months ago I had a accident, damaged my spine in various places, but what left me paralyzed was the injury to L1/T12 (complete), your story helped me understand what to expect,

I now walk with difficulty with crutches, but it is a start, keep giving others this encouragement.

  • @Pangolinx1 Right, after the the paramedics, the doctors, the nurses, the pharmacist, the physical therapists, the prosthetics tech, drivers, cooks, housekeepers, teachers, family members and strength coaches dragged his ass up a huge hill......he was able to walk a few steps by himself through his own effort..............then sit his ass back down in a wheelchair.

You can pretend this was some miracle of self-will all you want but it's a lie.

  • @Pangolinx1 can be, but only if you dont take care of yourself, he was a mess, over weight and depressed when he could not walk. he fixed that not anyone else

  • @mageac So those physical therapists we saw working with him were what? Extras? Sorry bud but your irrational belief in miracle cures is still irrational. Oh, and this guy will be a goddamn mess by 50 because recovery from nerve trauma can be awfully temporary.

  • @Pangolinx1 his legs were not fixed by anyone, he improved himself

  • god bless you and all people !keep going Real iroman!

  • Lucky you. You managed to have a medical condition that was covered by some insurance company that the doctors could actually treat. There are hundreds of thousands of people without medical coverage and chronic conditions that don't get proper treatment.

People use videos like this to mock those people who are still challenge and without support. NO there isn't support for all who need it.

  • Holy fuck so damn motivated by this.

So amazing that you made the best out of that situation instead of giving up.

  • INSPIRATION

  • This actually made me slightly tear up. Extremely inspirational man, God bless.

  • Amazing inspiration my friend. You are truly a hope for so many people. Just awesome. I will be lifting hard today just after watching this!
