1971 Ariens Arrow 400SS, 28 hp Kohler 399cc twin engine (built in Canada). Any info you might have on what Skiroule models fit this unit, or Ariens parts suppliers, please advise!

Neat find for sure! its always interesting what companies made years ago, like how Massey-Harris used to make Snowmobiles, and even Harley-Davidson! made Snowmobiles! even John Deere made Snowmobiles! i think everyone has them at some point! LOL even Ford had snowmobiles! as many would convert Model T's and Model A's to a snowmobile like setup! anyways thanks for sharing Yooperd! and hope you can get it running! looks like a fun project,

Tried to reply to you in email, was blocked because I was not on friends list.

Thought you might buy the Ariens I had on eBay. That way you could combine the best of both sleds and have a excellent source of parts.

You asked about pics from ebay, not hard to copy but I could send you some of my machine if you want. I would try towing it with the spark plugs out, it might free up the motor. That trick has worked for me in the past and is good to get stubborn motors started also. Cheers.

Nice sled. I have a 400L on eBay. Same engine runs great. Try towing it around a bit. I did that and my engine freed up. Pen oil for a few days and tow with the plugs out. Cheers.
