surfing longboarding came first.

alright to clear things up surfing change in the mid sixties when boards became shorter and gave you more speed. the boards that werent short became known as longboards therefore longbording. skateboarding started using longboards for down hill in the 80s-90s and they are also called longboards. so people stop saying that one belongs to the other and that they are wrong just live with it.
