What an amazing success!
Thank you to all of the participants, sponsors and supporters for joining Rouge Valley Centenary's Corporate Bed Race on May 27 at Scarborough Town Centre.
Pledges reached more than $35,000 and the total is expected to climb higher yet as final numbers are tallied.
We were thrilled about our partners in this event, with Scarborough Town Centre and Toronto Community News helping to make this a special event. Of course all of our sponsors were amazing, including East-Court Ford Lincoln, Bell, Mittman Carriers, Scarboro Golf and Country Club, Alliance Collision and Meridian. Special thanks to emcee Rick Kunst who had us laughing and cheering with the action all day.
Thank you to all the participating teams: Toronto Community News, Meridian Fab 5, McDonald's, Scarboro Golf & Country Club (Highest pledges), STC Bed Rocks, MALLy Maids, Moulon Rouge (Race runners-up), Operation Bedridden (Race Champions), Toronto Professional Firefighters' Assoc., Rouge Valley Surgical, Bell, Best Buy, Under-Covers Security (winners of best dressed) and RVHS Foundation.
Three raffles for prizes were held after the race and the winners were Dr. Jayson Dool, Jonathan Pua and Dylan Welsh.
