Of course this bass is no longer in production. There were only 42 ever made! Making these models extremely rare. I've only seen 2 of them. Mark king playing his and another video featuring a gentleman in europe that owns one. He has a video here on youtube somewhere.

Well we took care of that now. The great level 42 rolled thru LA and I was there with my wife and all three of my kids and we rocked out next to Mr. Carl Mueller and crew.
Mark promised to come back next year....WHERE DO I BUY THE TICKETS!

I got to wonder about playing that fender?. A business move perhaps. Outside of a vintage Jazz,I don,t see the point.A JD, Status or a Alembic are so different in quality, fit and finish. As Stanley Clarke said ;A fender is built for a body, an Alembic is built for a person.

The bass is a Fender Mark King Jazz bass deluxe of which there were only a few hundred made and are no longer in production.
