The Kingsmen were featured weekly on the Fibber McGee & Molly show for years and did this song a number of times. Listen to the show of Dec. 9, 1941 for an example. That show is fascinating also in that it was 2 days after the Pearl Harbor attack, which becomes obvious as you listen.
