The Harlot's House

This piece written in 2008 by Elaine Fine for string quintet (2 violins, viola, cello, and bass) or string orchestra, is based on "The Harlot's House," a poem by Oscar Wilde that was published in April of 1885 in "The Dramatic Review." The music serves as an illustration for the text, which is shown here stanza by stanza.

What program did you use? I can tell it is not actual string instrumentation, but I liked it just the same. Might you be willing to send some sheet music over for me, an ambitious violist? I thoroughly appreciate this upload.
