I think it is really important to raise issues with a video like this.

Womens self defense is an important issue that should be discussed. I did not see a single technique that I would want a woman that I know using when she is attacked. Maybe the video is meant purely for entertainment and nothing else, but if an academy is using that show to attract students, I would beware.

Self defense is not an easy thing even for you guys. no matter how bullshit it is that they're training, at least they start already unlike some people who just sit in front of PC and do nothing except badmouthing other people :)

Seems like these self-defense techniques really require the rapist to cooperate with you for them to work. Unless you're a professional fighter, you'll never have the presence of mind to use these techniques in an actual threatening situation (assuming they work in the first place). Karate's a good way to stay in shape, but don't kid yourself into thinking that it's a good way to fight. Carry a knife or a gun instead, ladies.
