You forgot to factor in Gears 2's supreme overarching problem: lag dependence. The lag encourages people to stick to their shotguns and close quarters, making null the cover system. Gears itself encouraged shotgun and sniper duels, not the lag. Therefore Gears 2 is a game at war with itself, lag making null many would-be valuable features.

The cover system in gears 1 wasn't the way it was supposed to be used. It was so easy to take cover and run around, because unless it was the shotgun, and not the lancer, you were safe. In Gears 2, with stopping power, it made cover more valuable. People actually have to think about where they take cover. At least the second game promoted more variety in the gameplay other than sniper and shotgun blazing. Each game has its flaws.

Gears 1 was remarkable because of its cover system, its graphics, and its chainsaw bayonet. In a single game Epic has managed to make null the cover system (stopping power makes it oh so fun to go from cover to cover), failed to recapture the atmosphere, and made their signature weapon an annoying joke that people laugh awkwardly at. Bring Gears back, please.

Just Sanctuary. It used to be Sanctuary, Courtyard, and Gold Rush, but those the latter 2 have / are being released for 360 already. I'm sure the Map Pack in April is going to bring that last map, Sanctuary.

Oh courtyard is coming out on Tuesday so will Sanctuary come out on Xbox360 in April tis year, also was there one called Fire Bridge or was that an edited map?

Hey, I know you've probably been asked this already but can you upload Sanctuary please? I've been searching this damn site but it's nowhere. Hopefully Sanctuary will be brought to Gears 2 in it's original form. Knowing EPIC they'll probably stick a sunset on which is a beautifully dark map. Hopefully though, if they do bring it out, they'll keep it dark.
