The comments on this thread is hilarious! First of all, it matters not whether you're white or black or asian or chinese its the texture of your hair and dont forget that all that dreadlocks are is matted hair. If everyone decided to stop combing (not stop washing) but stop combing their hair, it would naturally matte and turn into dreads (neglet method). Most dreads are palm rolled and styled so they can be made more manageable and aesthetically pleasing.Know your stuff before stupid comments

@coldevices ok thanks i do use dr bronners shammpoo, the peppermint an i love it my dreadsare almost 6 months old, i havent done anything to them i lost like 7to 8 inc they are so short an everytime i wash they shrink more,lol!!!i got dreads becouse i dont wana be bothered with hair , its a nusence, i have always wanted dreads i gotem now but i hope they will grow!!! it just seems to be getting shorter an shorter ,did that happen to yrs??thanks for the repy!!!

@hippigirlful wash with pure castile soap dr bronners is the best and just dont comb let it mat and pull apart a little in a year u will have some sexy dreads natural allways look unique if u need a hairstyle this isnt what u want
