@97wowplayer The water is in DX11 because the programmers got lazy. Better water could have been simulated with DX10 if the developers pushed DX10 to sub-par limits. But instead, they used DX11 to make everything much quicker, instead of working a little on design. If the developers pushed DX11 to its limits, the water would be near photo-realistic. So, although the water effect is only in DX11, it doesn't have to be, and could be made with DX10. So really, it shouldn't be DX11.

This isn't even DX11. Its a crappy procedural normal map and displays nothing but the gullability on wow junkies.

WoW ist eben sehr alt und da kannst du mit dx11 auch nichts mehr rausholen.
