I never said they was unpenetratable. I said the most common IEDs can't destroy them. Sure, a AT RPG to the turret ring will take it out, or a 125 mm to the rear. But an IED isn't a tank weapon, it's a mine-type device, therefor you can't compare. Bottom armour is the thinnest on any tank. It's like apples to oranges.

@patrikasLTL the T72 is a ripoff tank that could fuck M1, unlike the M1 which would failtrying to knok out a WW2 king tiger or IS2. haha! as for air superiority. how can you compare a coalation of hundreds of country VS the strongest millitary in the world (for the time) thats how the amerikans won in all of their wars. many allies VS few enemies. the only time when they tried to go to a war without all of their allies and babysitters against vietnam, the poor small asian country. they FAILED!
