@candunew no one cared at uc... having lost a head coach and going in with a coach that left few days after the game! they had no game plan and on the sidelines there was no morale
Cincy gave up 659 total yards of offense to Florida, while posting only 246 yards of their own. These are the kinds of numbers that an OSU would have against a I-AA team proving that Cincy was out-classed against the big dogs. You'll see a Louisville or UC or Kansas State or Northwestern (the list goes on) have a good freshmen class and make a run for a few years, but they always disappear after that. It would be nice to have an in-state rivalry though.
Yeah PBS is ok. but i read somewhere the Bengals would have to adjust their schedule too becuz of field conditions. it sounds better than the games always being at OSU though.
well i agree that OSU should play more games in Cincy when they play UC. But only at the NFL stadium. theres no way the games will ever be at Nippert because it just way too small especially with all of the OSU fans coming in there. Traffic has been an absolute disaster plenty of times when OSU plays nearby opponents at their stadiums especially when the opponents campus ppl arent prepared for the incoming OSU fans.
The buckeyes is scheduled to play the Bearcats in 2012---unless they play in a bowl game. That will put all the talk to rest. Hopefully for you guys, the new coach will be the same as Kelly & Cincy remains good until then.
maybeif the Bearcats had a SLIGHTLY better showing in the Sugar bowl against a team only 1-2 spots ahead of Oregon. instead Cincy gets exposed AGAIN playing a top 10 team from a better conference. That game look more like the Georgia-Hawaii Sugar bowl a couple years ago---which I fully expected it to be. The similarities between Cincinnati and that Hawaii team are almost scary similar.
the only chance Cincy has to win is a shootout. However, the last few highly ranked teams with high-powered offenses Buckeyes played have been held in check by Buckeyes defense. Oregon only scored 17 and Texas only scored 24----way below normal for them. even with Gilyard, the Bearcats do not have the offensive talent, speed, or athleticism that Oregon has & most definitely not what Texas has.
That's not fair, osu had Antonio Pitman, Troy Smith and Ted Ginn...rematch 2014!
