I have a question i have this problem on my math H.W 3 times 3 5/9. I got 32/3 then i did 3 divided by 32=10 Remainder 2 what do i do with the remainder? Please help :D!

Can you help me? I the problem was 13 x 4 1/8, i did the math and ended up with 8 29/5??!!!! I'm really bad at math so if you could help that would be great! :)

@oOxXWarriorcatsXxOo You have to change the mixed number--4 and 1/8 into an improper fraction, then multiply: 13/1 x 33/8 = 429/8 = 53 and 5/8

@Fet3434 it's called cross-canceling, but this can be confusing. Just multiply across (after changing the mixed number to an improper fraction and the whole number to fraction form) and then simplify at the end.
