  • it would be faster and easier if you pick it up with your hands

  • @MultiWatchers well you right but you figure leaf hog mulches too

  • get a real blower that runs on gas not an electric one

  • @johndeere211 Give me some cash and I will buy a "real" one lol

  • umm it's a pro-164 Radioshack scanner. Basically its a newier model of the 97 but looks the same. My county is still all analog so i can pickup all the fire and sheriff department using trunking. It's nice to know what's going on around the area.

  • The commenters are right, it doesn't appear to vacuum that quickly, but it definitely produces a nice compost quality shredded leaf. Good demo!

  • OMG, that thing stinks...

  • @MultiWatchers hes right. mulching=10 times better. you make 2 bags instead of 20 by hand.

  • That would be good for shredding documents in Banks and Government offices.

  • @jor99912

Same here. If i wear the bag over my shoulder, it makes a kink which clogs everything up. I have to let it drag across the ground, and then that makes a hole in the bag.

It's lose-lose either way. I only use it twice a year, so I don't care though.

  • Well I guess this has been discontinued. I have the LH5000. Which seems a bit smaller! Vacs about like this, maybe better. Mine clogs up sometimes in the passage way into the bag. Which is about (5) inches in diameter! And the vac tube clogs! Wouldn't moist leaves Vac better in the Tube? And shouldn't B&D have maintained this "Design, with the "LARGE DIRECT DEPOSIT into the bag. Looks like that AREA wouldn't clog as often as my chute" to the bag does!
  • When the leaves are big like maple leaves, have the kids jump in the pile to break the leaves up and then you can work faster sucking those buggers up.
