Wow...this resonates on so many levels. Can't believe nobody thought to record the feed and release it. Eight years from now, Obama and the CSO have *got* to get together and do a proper recording.

Yes! I was at this performance and was very impressed with Mr. Obama's delivery of Copland's Lincoln Portrait. This was also the first time I saw Obama in person and begin following his impressive career. I was wondering if this was ever recorded. I made an audio recording for myself that I need to try to find. Thanks for posting!

One of the greatest pieces of American music read by one of the greatest modern orators. Wish I could have seen it.

True, this is a video clip. Its also a video recording. You said "Anybody know if there's a recording of Obama doing it? ". You did not specify audo or video, so what you said was at the very least confusing.

Next time please practice what you preach and finish reading what you wrote before replying.
