@OfficerCooper This is gonna make Cruel Brawl a nightmare....But I'm done with it so my compliments go to you
-
@lamdash what's terrible is your reading comprehension
-
For the landing in the water multiple times, what was it you did in the code in order to make it work like that?
I really like that aspect of the code and I am curious how you made it happen.

WIN!!! The plank song from what's it called ed edd and eddy ? Instant win
-
@ScatMonkey777 yeah, I do. I can't help it: Snake mains tend to plank a ton.
-
@lamdash You plank a lot, do you?
-
I actually really like this idea. It's not too invasive and you have to be trying to plank for this to even affect you.

Too bad, this ruins techniques such as the Peach's LIFT.

@JackOfSpades93 As stated, this has *nothing* do do with any normal ledge options, including ledge drops. It is merely a counter that prevents repeated (5x or more) planking.

this is horrible. that means no drop-down to double-jump onto the stage? many characters use returning to the stage with an aerial as an option to get up from the ledge. this makes this impossible.
when you break a legitimate game element, you've gone too far. now you are forcibly limiting a player to only four options from the ledge, when they previously had many more. planking is bad yes, but can easily be enforced with the ledge-grab rule.
terrible.

@lamdash I'm not really sure what you're talking about. In no way, shape, or form are any ledge drop options limited. In this very video, Meta Knight does several ledge drops.
The only change is that five consecutive ledge grabs (non-tethers) without taking damage forces a getup. This is even harder to trigger than it sounds; the average number of ledge grabs per entire stock is normally 2-5 on most stages. Even on Norfair, this never triggers unless someone is explicitly stalling.
