@arturdrozdz297374 yeah cause your Cat is gonna magically out power an engine with 400nM more torque and almost 200 more hp(Scania V8 now up to 730hp, 800 on it's way)
compare the specs, these things produce max torque from 1100-1500 rpm. so while these are still pulling hard you are already changing down gears
there is a video of a scania 144 / R series coming into a dead end in Australia, and it was able to swing around in the space with a trailer. Try doing that in a conventional like a Coronado or Scania T cab
actually, US trucks (apart from doubles) are restricted by DoT regulations to 88,000lbs, which is equal to 39,916kg an EU semi trailer has 40,000kgs on 5 axles, 44,000kg on 6 axles.
the real reason USA doesn't have small cab overs is simple, DRIVERS HATE THEM !!
