well, Best sunday dress was on starbelly too and later it became a full song so i don't know...maybe they recorded all in one session but realized the songs weren't good enough (or didn't fit the concept ) and then we have starbelly, who knows.

this version is way warmer and fuzzier and... Just plain better than the original (imo... obviously)

Her voice lends a certain vulnerability to the song, and her coarse vocals just make it so much rawer and realer.

The guitar is beautiful

I wouldn't go as far to say that it's better than the original, but only because it's not a very good recording. Still a stunning performance.
