Tom Schaefer - Happy Holidays (Christmas Favorites)

I have always loved the music of Christmas. While it is not complicated music, it is unsurpassed in beauty. That's one reason it has become so widely known and loved by generation after generation. The selections I have created here represent ideas that have remained in the back of my mind from years of singing, playing, and listening to this music. I created these selections in their entirety on a Korg O1W ProX Music Workstation in 1992. In two of the songs I used sheet music which I had learned as an organ student in my teens. The first is J.S. Bach's "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring." The second instance is the 2nd verse of "O Come, All Ye Faithful" where I used a free organ accompaniment arranged by T. Tertius Noble.
