Superjet is carries the curse of capitalism. Its not even fully Russian. The engines are half french. The Auxiliray power and avionics are 100% American. This make the Russian industry dependent on the West. This is not a Russian plane and I despise it. The Russian government likes to pretend its Russian for some reason. Russia has to build its own planes like during the Soviet era.

wrong, orders are already listed on the wikipedia page, there are orders from russia, italy, armenia, switzerland, iceland so far... none from venezuela

wonder is the manouverbality due to its kinda small size?? lak if htey increase size to say 200 would it still be manouverable.... i have no idea but if anyone does let me know.. here in ireland we only have shorts (company that makes boeing or something and choppers and missles, but i still dont have a clue bout it really) :)

Not safety requirements, they claimed them to be noisy and ecologicaly unawared.
Crash rate ot Tupolev and Ilushin planes is lower then Boeing and Airbus crash rate.
