1966 single. Number 12 in the UK charts. This is another gem from the amazing Burt Bacharach/Hal David songwriting team. There's also a great 1962 Gene McDaniels version.

Scott's voice is VERY different these days... as is his music. Bold and certainly innovative but not very accessible, I'm afraid.

Yessss I know what you mean, I preffered his old work. I could relate to it better !! Check out The Midwich Cukoos on myspace if you like music in this vein : )
