Mansar school in 2000

Myanmar consists of many ethnic groups live in border areas, and most of them were insurgent so far. After peace agreement, the government tried hard to reconccile and make unity between them.
One of the government's efforts is education sector. They constructed school building and dispatch Myanmar teachers to remote and inconvinence villages.
This video is Mansar school in Kokang region of Northern Shan State, Myanmar. Two Myanmar teachers stayed and were teaching very far from central Myanmar. 27 Palaung students were studying basic education such as Myanmar language.
