General Hospital - 1990 - Lucy and Alan's Wedding Part 3

Part 3. Monica tells the Quartermaines that they can all stay in the mansion. She's moving out. Dawn decides to leave with her. Alan doesn't understand and wants to know what she's up to. Meanwhile, Lucy, who knows that she's moving into the mansion and knows she'll be marrying Alan that afternoon, arranges for a wedding reception at the Port Charles Hotel. Lucy sees the mysterious Desiree, who is living on Wyndamere (with Faison...aka famous writer P.K. Sinclair) and tries to hobnob with her. Dawn and Decker talk about Ned's two sides - the soft side and the Quartermaine side. Tracy plots against Lucy.

Okay, it's not Katherine, it's Dawn? Monica's daughter?? Can someone clue me in I don't recall the history.

@karenone2 Dawn is Monica's daughter from when she was a student in college. Monica gave her up for adoption. She was pretty much plunked into the storyline with not too much more backstory (or I wasn't that interested LOL) In the course of the show, before the character's demise, she was played by 3 different actresses... quite a feat considering she wasn't on the show that long. Quite frankly, the last time I remember them mentioning her was when Monica had cancer and told Emily about Dawn

@karenone2 Ohhh.... this might jog your memory. She marries Ned but on her wedding day, she runs off with Decker (Colton's brother). She actually falls in love with Decker but Decker gets involved with the wrong person and she pays for it with her life.
