This was the first time this former "GEAR JAMMERS" champ was started and driven in over 7 years, its a true 427 Rat motor with over 600 hp that can be driven everyday on the street. Compare it to the professional cars racing the same distance on Z max drag ways PINKS ALL out and our 1/4 mile was UP HILL and the rev limiter was set at 4800 rpm

  • 9 SEC MY ASS MORE LIKE 13 SEC. I WILL GIVE 12. 5 SECONDS...... I DO THIS SHIT !!!!!!!!

  • 9's!?!? maybe with a 500 shot! car freaking hesitated when he went to nail it! T.U.R.D!!

  • I don't care what it runs in the quarter. Its got balls and its bad ass!

  • Nice!!

  • There is no way that car runs 9's. I agree with everyone else that your talking out of your ass.

  • If this piece of shit runs 9s ill jump off the eifflel tower naked.

  • A 427 likes to rev since its a big bore/short stroke motor, and good stock parts will stay together at 7500rpm in one. But hydralic rollers, especially in BBC's with their shitty valvetrain angles have a real hard time over about 6000rpm because the hydralic roller lifters are very heavy. Because its a hydralic, you can't run big spring pressures. You would be lucky to see 6500rpm out of one in a BBC. So, I call bullshit on 9's without the bottle.

  • nice car

  • @black82s10 forged crank, h beam rods, forged pistons, a good balance job, high valve spring pressure and a hydraulic roller cam, will rev all day long, no problems. or you go solid cam but that means more maintenence, but equals more revs.

  • @b00ts000 that's a BIG negative. big blocks don't like rpms, they are all about low rpm torque. that's alot of rotating mass to get spinning that fast, and alot of internal surface friction. sure he could turn it 7k. but he'd only do it once. twice if he's lucky. and it's not pretty when those big pistons meet a valve that floated. you see some crazy stuff working in a race engine shop...
