  • We need to see the reality that music is an art that is so dynamic and is able to change. Music has many genres, do not condemn those who cannot understand you, JUST ENJOY WHAT YOU WANT EVEN OTHERS DO NOT LIKE IT AS IT IS NOT PUTTING YOU AND THEM IN DANGER.

  • @JackBlair2 if you believe lesser intelligence means crappier taste then that is a biased implication....yes on average dumb people like dumb downed music...that's like believing all stereotypes are true, there's a bit of truth in it, but to apply it to a whole race is ignorant.....plus we aren't debating 2 radically different genres, we are talking about classical vs modern classical....music evolves, an example of classical musicians ahead of their time is alkan allegro barbaro, and bartok!

  • @harryspoonpotter Your dad is more intelligent than you are.

  • die musik ist gut !!

  • oh gosh...the vibe in the center, the piano in the background, the xylos behind the vibe, the two marimbas at the left...it's the disposition of "Music for 18 Musicians" !!!

  • wheres the part 2?

  • i like the piece. very diferent from others works, this piece of 2003 represents for me the urban music....resembles new york for me...

  • Ahaha, funny. Sadly it's not one the finest pieces he has written... try Daniel Variations instead. That's ie reeeealy more convincing!

  • I totally agree, infact there is a live version for 8 cellist. It is a problem of theatre more than musical, for me in order to work (on stage, 'cos it's perfectly fine on cd) the cello soloist must be in a coreography, the fact that he is playing with himself must have sense from a theatrical point of view.

  • Great piece by a great composer.
