@399Oddball get gimp, it's free and you can practice drawing digitally on there, and you should consider getting a tablet, wacom bamboo tablet is good for beginners

I'm trying to get a digital art program but it won't be happening for a while. I do pencil sketches now... I'm pretty good if I have something to copy but I can't draw things out of my mind very well. Tips??
