Algeria's hostage crisis has been brought to an end - but it has come at a high price.
 
Twenty-three hostages were killed, at least seven on the final day when special forces stormed the gas plant. And a number of others are still missing.

I believe there is a clear difference between Religious Extremists and "Terrorists". If you're doing it in the name of god you're a Religious Extremist. If you do it for no reason or political game and fear mongering, you're a terrorist. There are plenty of similarities but plenty of differences too. Do we not terrorize by drone attacks and propaganda?

Yep, they blew up vehicles and used attack helicopters which could have blown the whole refinery up. They didn't care about rescuing them they just wanted to shoot at everything in there.
