Yeah. . but the real Evita fans know she was the s**t, and far exceeded Madonna in the role. We remember her as truly embodying the "star quality" of Evita. Her vocal skill and acting ability far exceeds Madonna. Sorry, again.

From certain angles though, Patti with the blonde hair is almost a dead ringer for Eva Peron, who also (obviously) was not a natural blonde.

Patti looks absolutely creepy in the blonde wig/dress... and I mean this in a good way.

That bit of Peron's paedophile could never been proved, and it was fiercely dismissed by the people who knew him. Had these abused girls existed, believe me that they would have sold that history to the gutter press nationally and internationally...

She was better than Madonna in the real deal, on Broadway! Sorry to spoil. . Madonna is great, but Patti Lupone rocked the house as Evita

Thank you for posting this! I remember it was played a lot in L.A. It was so popular that SCTV even parodied it! BTW--do you have the second commercial, with "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina?"; that one has a lot more Mandy!
